1. Be sure to choose regular products from well-known brands
Many people think that antifreeze can be used, so they just buy some cheap and inferior products to add to the machine. Some inferior products often cut corners to reduce costs, which will not only greatly reduce performance, but also damage the machine. Therefore, when buying antifreeze, you must not go for cheap, but choose products from big brands.

2. Choose the right freezing point
The freezing point is one of the most important performance parameters of an antifreeze. Currently, the freezing point of commercially available antifreeze is mostly -25℃ to -45℃. The freezing point of the antifreeze should be about 10℃ lower than the lowest temperature in the area where the excavator is located, so as to achieve a better antifreeze effect.

3. Choose the right boiling point
The boiling point is another important performance parameter of the antifreeze, which can effectively prevent the engine from "boiling". Since the boiling point of the liquid decreases with increasing altitude, if the area where the excavator is located is at a high altitude, you should choose an antifreeze with a higher boiling point.

4. Do not mix antifreeze
The "do not mix" here not only refers to different brands, but also different labels. Even if the main ingredients of different types of antifreeze are the same, their additive formulas will be different. They should not be mixed to avoid chemical reactions, precipitation or bubbles. The performance of the antifreeze will be greatly reduced, which will damage the machine. If you want to replace different antifreeze, you must replace it completely at one time, and clean the cooling system when replacing it.

5. Antifreeze should be replaced regularly
After using the antifreeze for a long time, its performance will decline, which will easily lead to poor heat dissipation effect, and in severe cases, it will cause the water tank to "boil". I believe that every friend of the first class is very clear about the damage caused by the boiling of the water tank to the engine. Boiling of the water tank is very dangerous. In severe cases, it will cause the water pipe to burst and the antifreeze to splash, thereby damaging the engine. The general replacement cycle of antifreeze is 1-2 years.

6. Antifreeze should be used all year round
